Bluemix Developer Support is seeking a highly motivated technical support engineer that can  analyze, diagnose, reproduce, troubleshoot and resolve complex client reported issues associated with our public, private and hybrid cognitive cloud platform.  Bluemix Developer Support engineers are responsible for ownership, management and timely communication to clients for all support requests. The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills, as well as a background in technical areas such as Cloud Foundry, Containers, Node.js, Java, Ruby, Swift, and Go amongst others. Candidate must be willing to work from Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. Weekday and weekend on-call rotations are required.

Position responsibilities:

1) Resolve complex client reported issues as it relates to the Bluemix platform and its services
2) Communicate the latest status to clients via email, ticketing and phone.
3) Collaborate with development tribes on unresolved issues.
4) Review and create reusable support content.
5) Contribute to development activities in the form of code, documentation or procedures.
