The Analytic Associate works as part of a team to design, conduct and interpret comprehensive healthcare data analysis to support program planning, monitoring, and evaluation for Medicaid / Health and Human Services agencies.

Essential Responsibilities

Conduct complex data analysis using skills in statistics and database management.
Analyze data relevant to the Medicaid population:  prepare demographic profiles, evaluate service utilization data, project financial impact of policy changes, etc.
Lead efforts to assess and improve the quality of managed care encounter data.
Develop queries and prepare reports including dashboards that highlight performance metrics and trends in an intuitive way.

Develop queries and prepare reports including dashboards that highlight performance metrics and trends in an intuitive way.
Contribute to development of new analytic solution packages.
Provide training and technical assistance to clients and internal staff on the use of data and analytics to support program planning/monitoring and quality management.
Design data/analytic projects with an accurate estimate of effort in a project plan.
Clarify scope and design issues, communicate status and results, and develop appropriate deliverable documentation.
Ensure all reports and deliverables are completed accurately and on-time.
